The German driver confirms his presence full time in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. They will compete in 2019 with the team of all.inkl.com Münnich Motorsport at the wheel of a new SEAT Ibiza.
The German driver made his debut in the World RX with the homonymous team of Rene Münnich in 2015. His first full season was in 2017. Getting a podium in our circuit on the way to a top ten final in the general classification.
Timo Scheider commented: “It’s not a secret that I got bitten by the rallycross worm a long time ago, I’m more than happy to be entering my first full season as a member of René’s strong team, we’ve slightly restructured the team and we’re preparing For the new challenges with the utmost diligence and ambition, I am very happy to take my participation in the rallycross scene to the next level, for me too, this very special discipline is the perfect setting for the sport of resilient and spectacular motorcycles, and that it applies to fans and drivers alike, I can not wait for the season to start in April. ”

The first round of the FIA 2019 World Rallycross Championship will take place in Abu Dhabi from April 5 to 6, and will be present at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 27 and 28 April.
