The nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb has confirmed his new goal for 2016: the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The French driver will compete with the Team Peugeot-Hansen in the 12 rounds of the WorldRX 2016.
The Peugeot 208 Supercar WRX is the car that Loeb will drive this season, a car with almost 600hp. The Frenchman has already begun to discover the world of supercars and has done so in the land of the Hansen, in an impromptu track on a frozen lake in Are (Sweden). Discover the first battle of the team in this video.
Loeb has already had the opportunity to try a Supercar WorldRX in 2013, when the championship was European. He participated in the round of France in Lohéac and there discovered the spectacular rallycross.
After several years, Loeb will return to see face to face with Solberg, also a WRC Champion and reigning WorldRX. The first opportunity to see a duel between Loeb and Solberg will be in April in Portugal and also can enjoy them in Barcelona on 17 and 18 September.
