The WorldRX drivers didn’t have much time to rest, in less than 5 days they have traveled from Hockenheim (Germany) to Mettet (Belgium), from the 2nd to the 3rd round of the FIA World Rallycross 2016 Championship.
The Kapaza Rallycross of Belgium starts in a big way, with 49 supercars registered, a record. In Mettet fans can watch the WorldRX regular drivers but also have the opportunity to enjoy the first round of the European Championship Supercars and the European TouringCar and the second round of the RX Lites.
Sure all eyes will be on Petter Solberg and Mattias Ekström, who share the championship lead with 48 points and both have been the first two to get a win this season. But Topi Heikkinen, who has started the year on a high, also has something to say, since he is the one who took victory in Mettet in the last two editions of the race. Not to forget the current runner specialty, Timmy Hansen, who has had a rough start this 2016; his teammate, 9 times WRC Champion Sebastien Loeb; and American Ken Block, who has managed the podium twice in his four appearances.
This weekend will have a new dose of adrenaline. The race can be followed on the WorldRX streaming channel on Sunday and delayed on the Esport3 Tuesday 17 as well as the highlights in movistar +.
