Apotheosis, stellar, “unexpected”. These are some of the adjectives that Sébastien Loeb received after demonstrating once again who is in charge of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada.
The French rider focused on the FIA World Rallycross Championship and the Dakar rally was a long time away from the stages after closing a winning race with 9 WRC world titles, but it seems that the touch is never lost. Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena prevailed over all the riders of the World Championship, ahead of Sebastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville, who accompanied him on the podium in Salou.
Another member of the rallycross grid that also joined the party was Petter Solberg. The Norwegian competed in the WRC2 category, with his VW Polo GTi R5 reaching a great third final position with his co-driver Veronica Engan.
Our riders have shown in this edition of the RallyRACC, that they are still in shape and that old habits are not forgotten.
