The start of a new year comes with the news of the second edition of BarcelonaRX. The American driver Ken Block has confirmed that he will compete in all 12 rounds of the 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship, so on 17 and 18 September will be at the Barcelona event in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Ken Block will offer the championship a new qualitative and competitive leap. In 2014 he already showed a great potential, when he participated in the Norway and France WorldRX races, where he earned a podium and fourth place respectively. Block is really happy: “I’m stoked to be able to compete for an FIA World Rallycross title!”
Over the past years Ken Block has achieved hundreds of millions of views on Youtube with Gymkhana series.“I’ve really enjoyed my past six years racing with Ford and to renew my relationship with them moving forward, as well as receiving an increased level of involvement from Ford Performance, to compete for a World Rallycross Championship, well, I couldn’t be happier!” Block has extended his partnership with Ford this 2016 and so the factory wil support him for the championship.

The american rider had already competed in Barcelona in 2013 during the XGames and this 2016 he returns to run and offer his best in the spectacular rallycross track in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
