Italy hosts the penultimate round of the WorldRX

There are only two rounds left of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and champion is yet to be decided. The distance between the leader, Petter Solberg and his main rival, Timmy Hansen, was reduced considerably in the last race of Turkey. Solberg is only 19 points ahead and still remain to be disputed 60. The equality between the Norwegian and the Swedish is high, each of them has scored three victories this season, Hansen has won 25 of his races while Solberg has done it in 24. This weekend, the International Circuit of Franciacorta in Italy, can be decisive.

The Team Championship also at stake

The duo Hansen – Jeanney is doing a great job this year and the Team Peugeot-Hansen has everything ahead to win the Team Championship. 79 are the points of advantage over the second placed Ford Olsbergs MSE and although there are still 112 points at stakem if this weekend the two Peugeot drivers maintain their good pace they could celebrate the title.

Final Round of the European Championship and the RX Lites Championship

The Italian round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship will also host the final round of the season of the Supercar EuroRX, Super1600 and RX Lites.

The European Supercar Championship doesn’t have it’s champion yet, so this weekend will be decisive. The fight is assured as current leader, Tommy Rustad, is only 6 points over Jerome Grosset-Janin.

In Super1600, the Lithuanian Janis Baumanis seems to have it all to take the title as he is leading the standings with 26 points ahead of the Hungarian Krizstian Szabo.

Finally, in the RX Lites Cup, 14 points that make the difference between leader Kevin Hansen, Thomas Bryntesson and Kevin Eriksson, third. Whoever becomes the champion will win a Supercar drive in the final World RX round in Argentina next month.
