This weekend comes the second round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship 2016. The test, which takes place in the German Hockenheimring, will be held in conjunction with other races such as DMT, Audi Sport TT Cup or the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.
Thus Hockenheim this weekend becomes the center of attention at the level of motorsport. On the Rallycross are many interesting things to tell.
Team driver Mattias Ekström wil have a three days with a lot of competition: will combine WorldRX with DTMraces championship that performs parallel to Rallycross. For him it will be a weekend very active, very motivating and lots of adrenaline.
Petter Solberg, who currently leads the WorldRX after his victory in Portugal, comes to this German event seeking to maintain the first position and is quite expensive since last year and took the win at this circuit.
But keep in mind their rivals. Sébastien Loeb started his first season in the WorldRX in Portugal with a large participation – reached the final -; his teammate Timmy Hansen, who fought at all times during 2015 to win the title; as well as Ken Block, who also debuts this year or Andreas Bakkerud, also the Hoonigan Racing Division; or the most prominent drivers of the first round as they were Topi Heikkinen, Robin Larsson and Johan Kristoffersson.
This weekend in Hockenheim can also see the start of the RX Lites, World competition support.
See it live on Sunday 10am in Esport3.
