Toomas Topi Heikkinen took the victory in the third race of the season in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. Thus, the Finn repeated victory at the Jules Tacheny circuit in Mettet, Belgium. “I’m very happy. In Belgium I am starting to feel like home” said the Marklund Motorsport pilot after this great result.

Second in Mettet has been for the championship leader Petter Solberg. This time, the pilot of SDRX team made an unusual mistake in the semifinal – a false start – so that was penalized with two passes through the Joker Lap and that prevented him from taking the pole for the final. However, Solberg continues leading the World Championship with 82 points and leads it 22 points ahead of second-placed Johan Kristoffersson.
