EKS se despide del FIA World Rallycross Championship

After five successful years, EKS says goodbye to the FIA World Rallycross Championship and will not be on the grid for the 2019 season, with our race as the second race of the season.

“2018 has been one of the most challenging years in the history of EKS. We had hard and exciting battles on the track and we faced even greater challenges outside of it. We did everything we could in the races and handled the P2 and P3 in the drivers’ championship, as well as in the second position in the team classification. But we suffer some internal setback, with Audi leaving the sport, we would have to take our own in 2019. That said, it’s time to close the World RX chapter in our books, “says Mattias Ekström, founder and driver of EKS.

EKS will sell its cars and provide all the necessary support to the new owners, to ensure that the S1RX can operate at its maximum potential and continue with the success that has been achieved so far.

“We still do not know what the future holds, but I hope you are loyal to EKS, whether it’s circuit racing, electronic sports or even chess, no matter what we do in the future, you can be sure that we will stand out the crowd and we will always do it EKS style! ”

Unfortunately EKS will not accompany us on April 27 and 28 at the CatalunyaRX but the action and the show are guaranteed.
