New format, same adrenaline

This 2021, the FIA World Rallycross Championship arrives in Catalunya with a new afternoon-night format. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will open its doors around 3pm. Some of the most prominent renowned drivers that fans will be able to see again live, after a year of hiatus without an audience due to Covid-19, are three-time world rallycross champion Johan Kristoffersson – who will participate in 2021, for first time, with an Audi S1 EKS RX quattro – and the Swedish brothers Timmy and Kevin Hansen. The German Timo Scheider, the Finn Niclas Grönholm or the Dutch Kevin Abbring also join the list. At the end of the month the final list of riders registered in the Catalunya RX 2021 will be made public.
