More than 80 drivers will compete in the BarcelonaRX 2016, led by Sébastien Loeb, Ken Block, Petter Solberg and Albert Llovera.
Today the FIA World Rallycross released the drivers list for BarcelonaRX on 17 and 18 September 2016 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The amount of drivers rises to 83, without counting the Carcross pilots. 22 Supercars, 25 European entries and 26 Super1600 will be fighting for the 1st place in Barcelona.
The two great news of 2016 WorldRX are the french driver Sébastien Loeb and US driver Ken Block. For the first time in the RX history, both are dmaking the full season and will be compeiting in Barcelona. Sébastien Loeb, nine times world champion WRC, will compete with his Peugeot 208 Supercar 600cv powered with Peugeot-Hansen Team. Ken Block, will drive the HooniganRacing Division team Ford Focus RS. During the weekend we will enjoy his great driving skills and also be able to meet them in the paddock, because paddock access is included with the BarcelonaRX tickets.
Petter Solberg, will be one of the most acclaimed pilots. Last year offered a big show during BarcelonaRX finals, and for sure the crowd will remember this and want to see him again winning. We hope we can enjoy again an incredible battle between the norwegian and the french drivers.
More than 80 drivers will compete in Barcelona
In addition to Loeb and Solberg Block some famous drivers will participate in the 9th round of the FIA World Rallycross. The two DTM Champions Mattias Ekström and Timo Scheider are in. Also the frenchman Guerlain Chicherit and the british Guy Wilks, will compete with the JRM Racing MINI RX Supercar. Young pilots from northern Europe are stomping the championship aswell and are the future of RX, Andreas Bakkerud or Timmy Hansen are the best younbloods.
Albert Llovera will compete in the RXLites Cup.
The drver from Andorra Albert Llovera joined for the first time the RX Championship and participates in three rounds of RXLites Championship. Now comes it’s time for his last appearance this year: BarcelonaRX. After his two first experiences in Norway and Sweden, where he tried for the first time his over 320cv car, and has the first fighs with the rivals. Now comes to Barcelona ready to offer the greatest show possible.

Throughout the weekend, attendees will see the drivers in more than 80 races. The competition will begin on Saturday 9 am and will be a 48h nonstop show.
